Introduction: Rick & Laura Steere: FOIAR, history (started 2012, ENABLE 2025) grown over the past 13 years. Focus on Animal Assisted Educational and Therapeutic Engagement and Agri-tourism.
Redefined the vision and scope of Service over the past few years. No longer offering private encounters and on-site public event except of the pond venue.
Current focus is on the 5 main branches of Service:
Individuals with Disabilities
Veterans (also including a Woman Veterans only separate group)
Churches
Schools/Youth programs
Nursing Homes
GOALS:
Embrace the Farmer Veterans Coalition initiative and empower their programs to assist local veterans in healing through agricultural ventures.
6/13/26 Veterans Concert at the Infinity Pond
Partner with the Center for Healthy Veterans (CHV)
Alternate months of service with ENABLE volunteering at CHV& Patriots from CHV having encounters at IAR
Offering welcoming, alternative setting for Veteran Based meetings
Supporting Veteran events by providing Animal exhibits
Creating a Veteran Community Agricultural Opportunity
Agria? Or other food growing operation at Infinity Acres Ranch (IAR)
Apiary? Aqua-culture?
Building Resiliency and Healing through therapeutic experiences with Animal Engagement and Guest Speaker Programs
Engage and collaborate with other Veteran Service Non-Profits
Developing Local Resources & Relationships that support & promote Veteran based services for this community
Grants to fund initiatives to provide a center at Infinity Acres Ranch for Veteran Reintegration into civilian life through Agritourism/Education and Sustainable Living Skill building.
